Jamie’s choreographic credits include Fuccbois: Live in Concert (Old Fitz Theatre – returning in 2026 with Soft Tread Productions), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Brent Street, dir. Ellen Simpson), Summer Love (Frantic Assembly’s Summer Residency), Boy. Love. Yes (Les Ballets C de la B – Les Ateliers), Broccoli and Muffins Look the Same in the Dark, A Winner Is Someone Who Wins (QL2 Dance), This Page Intentionally Left Blank (Belconnen Arts Centre), and Much Ado About Nothing and Casanova (Canberra Repertory Society – nominated for Best Choreography). Reviews have praised his “clear intent” (For the Win, QL2 Dance) and “imaginatively staged” works exploring themes such as empowerment and social commentary. He has created works for Mardi Gras, Sydney Opera House, City of Sydney, and EverAU x Sydney Dance Company.
He has also served as Choreographic Assistant for Flying Fruit Fly Circus’ Circus Under My Bed, dramaturg for Legs On The Wall’s Cat’s Cradle, and was Resident Artist/Rehearsal Director and Assistant to the Artistic Director at QL2 Dance from 2012–2018. His directing credits include Canberra Youth Theatre’s Versions of Us (written by Emily Sheehan) and A Christmas Carol for Budding Theatre.
As Creative Director for Ausdance ACT’s Youth Dance Festival from 2014 to 2018, Jamie oversaw the creative process for more than 1,500 young artists annually, a role that earned him the ACT Chief Minister’s Diversity and Inclusion Award. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he launched The Social disDANCE Project, an online platform fostering community connection through creativity and movement. He has also been featured by ABC News for leading large-scale community dance events, including the launch of Dance Week.
